| Vulnerability Description A remote code execution vulnerability has been reported in the way Microsoft Internet Explorer handles Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). CSS is a formatting method for Web pages using HTML. A remote attacker could exploit this issue by convincing a user to visit a specially crafted HTML document or open a malicious web page. Successful exploitation could result in remote code execution on the target system. |

Vulnerability Details The vulnerability is due to a memory corruption error in Microsoft Internet Explorer that fails to properly display Web pages that contains certain CSS styles. To trigger this flaw, an attacker can create a malicious web page with a specially crafted CSS style. Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code on the vulnerable system once the malicious page is loaded. |
