| Vulnerability Description A remote code execution vulnerability has been reported in the way that Microsoft .NET Framework x86 JIT compiler handles certain function calls. The .NET Framework JIT compiler is a .NET Framework runtime component which compiles Microsoft Intermediate Language (MSIL) against the Common Language Runtime (CLR) on demand at application run time, when the contents of an assembly are loaded and executed. A remote attacker may exploit this vulnerability to take complete control of an affected system. |

Vulnerability Details This vulnerability is caused by the x86 JIT compiler within the .NET Framework that incorrectly compiles certain types of function calls. A remote attacker may exploit this issue via a malicious .NET application. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow the attacker to take complete control of an affected system. |
