Vulnerability Details The vulnerability is due to a boundary error in Microsoft Office Visio when parsing DXF files inserted into Visio documents. This vulnerability may be exploited by remote attackers by enticing a user to open a maliciously crafted Visio file with a vulnerable version of the application. Successful exploitation of this issue may allow execution of arbitrary code on a vulnerable system.

Protection Overview
This protection will detect and block the transferring of malformed Visio files over HTTP.
In order for the protection to be activated, update your Security Gateway product to the latest IPS update. For information on how to update IPS, go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.
