Who is Vulnerable?
Sunway ForceControl 6.1 sp3 and prior.
Vulnerability Description
A remote code execution vulnerability has been reported in Sunway ForceControl.
Vulnerability Details
The vulnerability is due to an error in the way the application handles length values supplied in certain Opcode requests. A remote attacker may exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted request to the target service. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code, in the security context of the logged-on user.

This protection will detect and block attempts to deliver malicious requests to the affected application.

In order for the protection to be activated, update your product to the latest update. For information on how to update , go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.

How Can I Protect My Network?
1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the Sunway ForceControl SNMP NetDBServer Integer Signedness Buffer Overflow protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
2. Install policy on all modules.
