4 gigabits per second (Gbps) and VPN performance of more than 1 Gbps, a 30% plus increase over previous configurations.

Performance Results
The system tested was running Check Point VPN-1®/FireWall-1® NG with Application Intelligence on a dual Xeon 3.06Ghz processor, 4GB RAM, and 6-gigabit network interface card deployed with Check Point SecurePlatform. NG with Application Intelligence achieved 4.2 Gbps of firewall throughput, 1.1 Gbps of VPN throughput with strong encryption.
