Check Point Software Executives to Establish 10b5-1 Trading Plans to Address Expiring Options

Check Point® Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP), the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, announced today that Gil Shwed, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board and Marius Nacht, a founder and Vice Chairman of the board, have implemented stock trading programs in accordance with Rule 10b5-1 under the United States Securities Exchange Act of 1934.

Both Mr. Shwed and Mr. Nacht will establish ongoing stock trading plans in order to exercise and sell options, primarily options that are nearing their expiration dates.  The plans comply with the company's trading policies.

Rule 10b5-1 allows corporate insiders and those with access to sensitive financial information to adopt written, pre-determined stock trading plans when they do not have material, non-public information.
